Goalkeeping FUNdamentals

Football Federation SA are excited to announce an Under 10 and 11 Goalkeeping coaching program. 

FUNdamental Goalkeeping is for boys and girls interested in having fun while developing the foundation skills, movements and attributes of a Goalkeeper. 

The aim of Goalkeeping FUNdamentals is to stimulate an enjoyment for Goalkeeping while preparing young Goalkeepers for coaching programs within the elite pathway.

Players who have no experience as a Goalkeeper are welcome.

Under 12 STIC Goalkeepers 

Goalkeepers who were born in the year 2000 are invited to trial for the FFSA’s Under 12 STIC Goalkeeping program.

The selected Goalkeepers will be part of the first phase of the FFSA Elite pathway and receive specialized weekly coaching sessions along with the opportunity to represent their zone in the STIC and Summer Series competitions. 

The Goalkeepers who excel in this program are selected for the following years Skillaroos.

Please note all Goalkeeper selections are made through these trials and not through club nominations later in the year.

Outfield players who are interested in Goalkeeping are encouraged to trial.
