Community Goalkeeper Prgram

COMMUNITY PROGRAM: GOALKEEPING DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (GKDC)

The Goalkeeping development centre provides Goalkeeper coaching for 9-17 year olds with a focus on the 10-13 age groups. This program does not require trials and is open to any Goalkeeper registered with a FFSA affiliated club.

The GKDC sessions provide age appropriate training in small groups (maximum of 6 Goalkeepers to 1 coach).  The coaches all have extensive playing experience and hold the minimum Goalkeeping Coaching accreditation (Junior Goalkeeping Licence). The program follows the National Goalkeeping profile which highlights the desired attributes of an International Goalkeeper. The aim is to provide specific Goalkeeper coaching in addition to what Goalkeepers receive at their clubs. The GKDC program is excellent preparation for the Elite Goalkeeping program. It also allows the continued development of Goalkeepers released from State Development squads

Goalkeepers of all ability levels are WELCOME. New Goalkeepers are encouraged to come and have a go with a FREE first session. To register, or for more information call or email Robert Matosevic.
