Contributed to the game of soccer as a player, coach, manager and administrator also a Life member Croatia SC (Adelaide) and Salisbury West Sports club

Represented Australia and South Australia as a player and was appointed captain of USC Lion SC at the age of 18 also won the Youngest and Most Promising Player award in 1955, Most Popular Player award in 1961 and the coveted West End Medal in 1965

 

H. (Henry) Kolecki

Born in Adelaide, South Australia

Contributed to the game of soccer as a player, Player Life Member SASF and Polonia SC (Adelaide)

Represented Australia as a player on two occasions and South Australia on 39 occasions between 1968 and 1980 also played over 250 senior games for Polonia and played for Adelaide City in the National Soccer League in 1978

 

J. (Jack) Mather

Migrated to Australia in 1951 from Coventry, England

Contributed to the game of soccer as a player, coach and administrator, Played for Birkalla Rovers and Juventus before becoming Coach of Juventus and Enfield City

Represented Australia on 15 occasions and South Australia on 23 occasions between 1952 and 1962 of which 8 years was as captain, also won the Sydney Sporting Life Award when voted the Best Player in Australia in 1954

 

A. (Bert) Walker

Contributed to the game of soccer as a player and administrator also a Life Member of SASFA

Represented South Australia as a player between 1937 and 1946 including playing against China in 1941 also played for and was captain of West Torrens SC where he won Championship and Cup medals, went on to become Chairman of the SASFA

Migrated to Australia in 1925 from Lancashire, England

Contributed to the game of soccer as a player and administrator, represented Australia including games against India, Palestine, South Africa and New Zealand, also played for South Australia over a period of 11 years between 1929 and 1939

Played for East Torrens, Lancashire and Kingswood winning 1st Division Championships, Pelaco Cup and Pozza Cup medals and was eventually elected onto the Kingswood SC committee
