Football Federation SA recently held their first Women’s Only Skill Training Certificate at the Adelaide Shores Football Centre.
The course was ran by Female Coaching Network Mentors and Women’s National Premier League Coaches, Marie Spagnoletti and Tracey Jenkins.
The course, conducted over two weekends in July saw eight local female coaches being provided with the opportunity to further develop their skills under the guidance of highly experienced coaches Tracey and Marie.
Marie spoke to FFSA about the feedback provided from the course,
“The feedback received from the female coaches was overwhelmingly positive. The general consensus was that a female only environment was a great idea, very supportive and everyone felt comfortable to share ideas and help one another out.”
Marie also thanked the FFSA Female SAP coaches for their support of the program by kindly making their players available for practical sessions across the two weekends.
FFSA looks forward to providing more female only courses, workshops and mentoring opportunities supported by the Female Coaching Network.
