FFSA thanks Bill Bailey for his outstanding service to the Football Community
Football Federation SA wishes to thank Bill Bailey for his outstanding service to the Football Community following the recent announcement of his retirement at the South Australian Amateur Soccer League (SAASL) AGM.
The announcement was made at the AGM on Wednesday 5 December that after 40 plus years of contribution to the league, Bill Bailey would be retiring from his role as President.
During Bill’s time with SAASL he has held roles as a DC Chairman, League Registrar and Vice-President prior to being elected to the role of President in 1997.
Bill has provided significant contribution as an administrator to the sport in South Australia and has played a vital role in developing the league into the strong competition it is today.
FFSA would like to take this opportunity to congratulate George Fotopoulos on his appointment to President of SAASL, succeeding Bill in this role.
