Port Adelaide Under 18s Coaching Vacancy
Now is your opportunity to join the Pirates and make an impact on Football in South Australia. Applications in writing are requested for an experienced and qualified coach for the position of Under 18s grade at Port Adelaide Soccer Club for the 2019 season.
Following requirements are essential; You must have a current FFA Senior License as a minimum qualification and actively working towards gaining an AFC “’C’” License.
Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of the FFA Curriculum and an ability to deliver training sessions based on developing players to improve decision making and technical ability. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Able to work closely with and taking direction from our senior coaching staff, to support and push the club towards promotion in 2019. Able to review and evaluate own performance. All applications will be treated privately and confidentially. Detailed knowledge of the FFA National Curriculum

Current National Police Clearance
Purpose Of Role
To manage and deliver coaching sessions for the Pirates Under 18s team. To develop younger players and prepare them for reserve and first team appearances.
Key Areas Of Responsibility
Plan, prepare and conduct the training and match program for the under 18s team
Provide ongoing feedback for player and senior coach
Work closely with the Junior Technical Director
Ongoing talent identification of Juniors coming through
Follow and implement the clubs philosophy
Knowledge, Skills and Behaviour Required
Able to review and evaluate own performance.
All training will take place at our brand new multi-million dollar training facility at Dimboola St, Taperoo
