General Manager - Football Development

The General Manager – Football Development will report to the CEO and form part of the executive leadership team and will manage Technical Programs, Participation Programs, Coach Education, Referee Development and Futsal. The position includes collaborating with the Executive team to ensure best practice leadership and compliance against key result areas and strategic initiatives. Along with this, you will also be responsible for management of departments’ budgets, managing reporting, all grant acquittals and applications and develop and implement a strategy that will facilitate the continued development and growth of the organisation in South Australia.

ALDI MiniRoos Participation Officer

Reporting to the General Manager - Football Development, the MiniRoos Participation Officer will target players aged 5 - 11 years of age and work closely with clubs and associations in encouraging new players to join organised competitions conducted within the state. One of your key duties will be to identify sites in which this programme can take place and become a reliable source of information for parents, football clubs, schools and the wider community. You will be willing to work as part of a dedicated team and competent across all levels of administration. You will bring your passion for the football to ensure the smooth running of the sport programme.

Referee Administration Assistant

Reporting to the General Manager - Operations, the Referee Administration Assistant will play a key supporting role in referee administration including the coordination and reconciliation of match official appointments. Whilst the position is primarily an administration role, some flexibility will be required to support events conducted throughout the year by the FFSA.

Football in Schools - Casual Coach

Football in Schools (FIS) is an introductory after-school program that is coordinated by the State governing body (FFSA) for children in primary schools across South Australia. This program is aimed at engaging children in physical activity through football in a bid to make children more physically active while promoting a safe, fun and inclusive environment.

FFSA is looking for players, current coaches and passionate volunteers to apply to become a paid Football In Schools Coach. FFSA also provides coaches with the training and source equipment for them to deliver an innovative program.
